99% of us do not have an ice cream maker at home. But that doesn't mean we have to miss out on the fun of making it ourselves. Here you will find a fool-proof recipe for making a basic ice cream at home. You can add whatever mix-ins you want to change up the flavor too! Pictured I have added mini Reese's cups and peanut butter! YUM!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 2c. heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Whisk together sweetened condense milk, vanilla, and salt in large bowl.
  2. In stand mixer with whisk attachment, or with hand mixer beat cold cream until stiff peaks form, about 2 minutes.
  3. 1 cup at a time gently fold in whipped cream to milk mixture.
  4. Pour into loaf pan and freeze.
  5. After 2 hours feel free to mix in any flavors or fillings to want to add. Return to freezer and continue to chill until hard. About 3 more hours.
