This pancake recipe yields the fluffiest, softest, richest pancakes. They are simply perfection and the ideal vehicle in which to add your own flavors. I am a Hungry jack Syrup soaker all the way!

Ingredients

  • 1c All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2T Baking Soda
  • 2T Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2tsp Salt
  • pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4c plus 2T Whole Milk
  • 1tsp Vanilla
  • 2T Melted Butter

Instructions

  1. In large mixing bowl combine flour, baking soda, sugar, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Whisk to combine
  2. Add remaining ingredients to the bowl. Whisk to combine wet into dry ingredients. It is OK if there are a few lumps.
  3. Let batter rest for 10-15 minutes.
  4. While batter is resting place a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add an additional Tablespoon of butter to pan.
  6. Once melted, add desired size scoop pancake batter. Allow to cook on first side (about 2 minutes) until bubbles have popped. Flip and cook an additional 30 seconds.
  7. Continue process with rest of the batter. Enjoy with your favorite toppings!
