This pancake recipe yields the fluffiest, softest, richest pancakes. They are simply perfection and the ideal vehicle in which to add your own flavors. I am a Hungry jack Syrup soaker all the way!
Ingredients
- 1c All Purpose Flour
- 1 1/2T Baking Soda
- 2T Granulated Sugar
- 1/2tsp Salt
- pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- 1 egg
- 3/4c plus 2T Whole Milk
- 1tsp Vanilla
- 2T Melted Butter
Instructions
- In large mixing bowl combine flour, baking soda, sugar, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Whisk to combine
- Add remaining ingredients to the bowl. Whisk to combine wet into dry ingredients. It is OK if there are a few lumps.
- Let batter rest for 10-15 minutes.
- While batter is resting place a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Add an additional Tablespoon of butter to pan.
- Once melted, add desired size scoop pancake batter. Allow to cook on first side (about 2 minutes) until bubbles have popped. Flip and cook an additional 30 seconds.
- Continue process with rest of the batter. Enjoy with your favorite toppings!
